National median value for all dwellings released by Corelogic as at 30th April 2022 shows all dwellings rose by 0.6% in April and 1.9% for the March quarter.

National median house values are up 0.7% for the month of April and 2.2% for the March quarter

House prices in Melbourne and Sydney fell by 0.7% and 0.4% respectively for the first 4 months of this year.

In essense, national property prices are rising in low single digits and given the expected pause with the announcement of a Federal election, talk of higher interest rates and inflation these results are expected.

There is no evidence of any real falls in property prices to date
