It is the month many of us Melbournians dread. The mornings begin to crisp and we hear ourselves mumbling, ‘…all seasons in one day’ far too often. Many assume Winter would also see a drop in house prices, but that is rarely the case. This year in particular, we are set to see some record sales.

When it comes to selling in Winter, prices are often high due to the fact that there is a lot less competition. In spring we see more than 1000 auctions a week, but in winter there are only 500-600. Buyers who do brave the rough weather are often serious buyers, who are ready to spend big.
