As we move towards more renewable energy, and climate change causes more extreme weather by the day, experts are predicting a significant rise in blackouts, and the many high rise apartments without generators will be feeling it the worst.
If blackouts are to become more frequent it is also likely that new developments will move towards featuring generators or other technologies to address this. Though these upgrades will also be reflected in the price of property and through owners corporation fees.
